This is an excellent, what to do right now, heavily color illustrated first aid book covering any possible situation that you might be faced with at a critical time After reading the book about a month, my wife tripped and fell, struck her head on a vase, broke her finger and injured her knee She was seriously injured from the blow to the head, requiring a call to 911, a room full of paramedics, an ambulance, and hospital emergency care I give the book credit for the information and instructions I had learned, helping me to respond correctly to the situation Yes, this is a true story The information is very concise, easy to understand, full size 8 1 2 x 11, and a little over a 100 pages.

I purchased this book for my First Aid class, and was disappointed when I received it It was not the correct book This one is the super skinny book that has hardly any content in it at all It was certainly not the book required for my class The company did take the book back and issue a full refund, so that was a plus Just be aware that this is not the full book, not the thick one required by most classes.

This is an excellent all around first aid field guide You ll find most of what to look for and what to do in an emergency situation, which is exactly what most of us need But be advised, as mentioned in a few other reviews, this is NOT the large textbook version IF you re looking for a good first aid guide, this is it.

This is a well written first aid book It would be great for parents, campers, and any one who cares about Helping other people with medical problems I have taken many first aid classes and many procedures have changed over the years, I purchased this book to stay up to date and as a refresher If it wasn t for taking first aid classes my daughter would not be with us today.I had to perform CPR on her several times when she was 2 to 3 years old.
